The land treasures of Anatolia, again…
We start our journey with new and fresh olive oil…
The idea of “Anadolu Hazineleri” came to my mind when I participated in a board cast for channel CNBC-e TV after 6 thousand olive trees were cut in Soma for mine exploration.
I narrated the story of our fellow countryman of Ankara (Gordion), Phrygian King Midas, in the broadcast in order to point out that those above ground were more valuable than those below ground. King Midas made a wish from the gods for converting all he touches into gold. After realising that anything he loved, foods and beverages were turned into gold as soon as he touched them, he begs the gods for getting rid of this new skill. Therefore, I tried to point out that there were more precious things than gold, and that the real treasure was “olive” and “olive oil” in the world.
And then, I started thinking about our unique earthly treasures such as; the hazelnut of Giresun, the apricot of Malatya, the fig of Aydin as well as olive oil.
And, first of all, I decided to start with “Oliveoil” which is one of the lands treasures of Anatolia, and for which I have been working on for 22 years so that it can obtain its real value.
Behind a bottle of “Anadolu Hazineleri” olive oil, there are essential producers who have been producing olive oil in Aegean Region for generations and have the knowledge and experience to produce good olive oil on the one hand, and an experienced team presenting certified organic and extra-virgin olive oil having high quality and complying with standards and being analysed in sensory and chemical aspects on the other hand. Especially while the olive oil has all its beneficial features, when it is new and fresh…
The success of “Anadolu Hazineleri” olive oil, one of our countries land treasures finding its true value, will be the best answer for the question “can we create a global brand in this land?” Therefore, our olive oil will be appreciated and will remove any questions for the producers about to whom and for how much will we sell the products every year. It will enable the producers to take better care to their trees and to focus on quality and product performance. Anadolu Hazineleri had support while coming out in the market. While Şenol Yorozlu, one of our artist friends, designed our logo and Mustafa Horasan made the illustration of Blackbird (olive planting bird), and the late Necdet Kaygın took photographs of our products, who we remember with respect. “Anadolu Hazineleri” olive oils are, at the moment, presented to you in 1 litre and dark coloured glass bottles and 2 litre gold-lacquered tin plates, as they are the most suitable containers in tune with the nature of the product and for the products preservation.
Every year, we aim to present to your liking our “special production” olive oils as well as our “geographically-marked” olive oils in the new production season. Next in line for you are the best of, of course, hazelnuts, figs, apricots and other treasures from the land treasures of Anatolia.
Your recommendations will of course be critical for our progress in new packages and products. We are making a new beginning with our new and fresh olive oils.
We have set off for the best, and we hope you will not deny your support.
With my thanks
